Hello, my name is Selena, and welcome to my podcast, Alive and Awake. It`s been a few episodes now and I guess it is time to do some meditations. I have been into meditations for over a decade now, but I have to say, I do not consider myself an expert, absolutely not. I am someone who knows the basics of it. I know that I have to sit or lay down, I know that I have to close my eyes, or so, preferably 😊. I know that I should breathe and that is the main thing for me at least when I meditate. Also, I know that what works for me, does not work for everybody. So please, everything that you do here, or you try to do with me, take very seriously and consult first with your doctor or general practitioner because as I said not everything is for everyone.
Today we will do for me one very nice practice. I hope that I can do that through a podcast, I have never done that. If I make a mistake please forgive me, next time it will be better, I hope. We all learn through mistakes, that is life. Another thing is, I enjoy visualizations, for example, that is something that I really prefer much much more. It is really not the same story; it is not the same benefit. I will include some visualizations if you guys tell me that you would like to know more what visualisations are and also if you want to do some.
Anyway, today is the meditation that will calm you down, that is the purpose of it, and I hope, as I said that it will be done as best as I can.
It started it will be almost 13 years ago, when I was searching a solution how to improve my mental health. I had a big trauma and a big loss when my father died suddenly, and that loss, you never get over that kind of loss really. But you need something that at least will make it a little bit easier and then I discovered meditations. That is how all begun, this healing journey, this whole process of me wanting to be a spiritual healer, me wanting to be a scientist as well, started with my father while he was alive and then it started also when he died, so it started twice. In two different ways. And I can just say thank you, to his spirit, for never giving up on me, giving me signs that I should continue and not give up. I should also thank you, my dear listeners and followers for not giving up on me.
Enjoy. Reset. Breath. And then please, give me feedback. That would mean a lot to somebody who is really really not an expert. Somebody self-taught and just wants to help people. Thank you.
Meditation part: We want to make coherent signal between mind-heart-gut. After initial breathing in and out and emptying the brain from thoughts and noises, we start with Box breathing. Box breathing means that you breathing in a square form, first is an inhale, followed by a hold of an inhale, then you exhale, followed by a hold of an exhale and then repeat. See the scheme 1.

I feel relaxed. I do not about you, I do not know if you could follow, please give me a feedback! If you want you can reach out to me personally through my email which is listed in my TikTok profile, you can reach to me here on my blog, and we can communicate and I can also personally give you one meditation for free, one-on-one. It would be my honour to do so.
I hope you enjoyed, breathe, have faith, believe and until the next time. Thank you for believing in me, and thank you for being on this journey with me. And I am here with you. Bye.
